1. Who we are
Dreamlab Galleries is an Australian creative-software service operated by DREAMLAB STUDIO PTY LTD (ABN 77 673 584 426), an Australian Private Company registered for GST with its main business location in Victoria 3805, Australia. “Dreamlab”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to DREAMLAB STUDIO PTY LTD trading as Dreamlab Galleries.
Questions, access requests and privacy complaints may be sent to privacy@dreamlabmotion.shop. Our legal name and ABN will also appear on paid checkout, order confirmations and tax invoices.
2. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors to our website; photographers, filmmakers and studios using Dreamlab; team members added to studio workspaces; and clients or reviewers who access galleries, albums or film-proofing links.
For account, billing, marketing and service-administration information, Dreamlab generally decides how the information is handled. For personal information contained in media, galleries, comments and client records uploaded by a studio, the studio determines why that content is used and Dreamlab processes it to provide the service. Studios are responsible for giving their clients any notices and obtaining permissions required by law.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide
- name, email address, studio name, role and contact details;
- subscription choice, billing status and transaction references—payment card details are handled by our payment provider rather than stored in full by Dreamlab;
- photographs, videos, RAW files, gallery data, album layouts, project details and associated metadata;
- client and reviewer names, email addresses, favourites, comments, approvals and access settings;
- support messages, feedback, survey answers and presale information; and
- consent and communication preferences.
Information collected through use
- browser and device information, IP-derived security signals, dates and times of access;
- privacy-conscious first-party launch events such as page visits, pricing selections, form starts, completed reservations and campaign attribution;
- feature, upload, storage, processing and download activity;
- security, diagnostic and audit events; and
- essential browser storage or similar technologies described in our Cookie Notice.
Launch measurement uses a random session identifier and does not create an advertising profile. We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve Dreamlab.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalise the service; authenticate users; process uploads; create galleries and proofs; perform requested culling, editing and album tasks; calculate usage; process subscriptions; provide support; detect abuse; secure the platform; communicate service notices; maintain records; and comply with law.
We send promotional or presale messages where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law. Every commercial email will identify Dreamlab and provide a practical unsubscribe method. Transactional notices about an account, reservation, security event or purchase may still be sent when necessary.
5. Studio and client content
Studios retain ownership of the photographs, films and other original content they upload. Dreamlab receives only the limited rights needed to host, copy, transcode, display, deliver, back up and otherwise process that content as directed through the service.
A studio must have the rights, releases and permissions required to upload content and share it with team members, clients and processors. Studios should take special care with images of children, sensitive events, confidential commercial work and any material subject to location, model or licensing restrictions.
6. AI-assisted processing
When a studio requests intelligent culling, editing, album layout or a related feature, selected content and technical metadata may be sent to a contracted processing provider solely to perform that task. Human review may occur only where authorised for support, safety, quality investigation or the studio’s requested managed service.
Private studio media is not used to train public or general-purpose AI models without express opt-in consent. Generated recommendations may be incomplete or inaccurate, and the studio remains responsible for reviewing selections, edits and outputs before delivery.
8. Retention and security
We retain account and project information while an account is active and for as long afterwards as reasonably necessary for billing, dispute resolution, security, backup, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Deletion from active services may not immediately remove isolated backup copies, which are protected and expire under our backup schedule.
We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted operational access, signed private links and monitoring appropriate to the nature of the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Studios must maintain secure account access and an independent copy of original media.
9. Your choices and rights
You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, ask questions about deletion, withdraw marketing consent, or object to certain processing where applicable. You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law or legitimate record-keeping requires it.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with additional privacy rights, contact us to exercise those rights. A studio requiring a data processing agreement may request one before uploading regulated client content.
10. Contact, complaints and changes
Contact privacy@dreamlabmotion.shop with the subject “Privacy request”. Please explain your relationship with Dreamlab and the request you want us to address. We will acknowledge complaints and respond within a reasonable period.
If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where appropriate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or your local privacy regulator.
